Bulk Actions
Bulk actions let you update or delete multiple time entries at once, saving time when you need to make the same change across many records.
Selecting Multiple Time Entries
Section titled “Selecting Multiple Time Entries”- Navigate to Time Entries in the sidebar.
- Use the checkbox on each row to select individual entries, or use the header checkbox to select all visible entries.
- Once at least one entry is selected, the bulk action toolbar appears above the table.
Batch Update
Section titled “Batch Update”With entries selected, click Bulk Update in the toolbar. A modal opens where you can set new values for the following fields:
- Project — Reassign the selected entries to a different project.
- Client — Change the client associated with the selected entries.
- Tags — Add or replace tags on the selected entries.
- Billable Status — Mark entries as billable or non-billable.
Only the fields you modify are applied. Fields left empty are not changed on the selected entries. Click Apply to save the changes.
Batch Delete
Section titled “Batch Delete”To delete multiple entries at once:
- Select the entries you want to remove.
- Click Delete in the bulk action toolbar.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
Deleted entries cannot be recovered. Review your selection carefully before confirming.
- Use the filters on the Time Entries page (date range, client, project, billable status) to narrow the list before selecting entries. This makes it easier to target the right records.
- The header checkbox selects only the entries visible on the current page. If your results span multiple pages, you will need to process each page separately.
- Bulk actions are useful after importing time entries to quickly assign them to the correct projects or tag them appropriately.
